Takapuna Rugby Club has a proud rugby heritage, and one of the Foundation’s goals is to help preserve and celebrate this legacy.
Forty years ago, in 1985, Takapuna’s Under 21 squad won the inaugural North Harbour Under 21 Championship – then repeated the feat in 1986, going unbeaten across both seasons. On March 29, players and coaches from those squads reunited at the club. Stories flowed, friendships were rekindled, and the Foundation was proud to support the event by funding the catering.
